Welcome to my AP 3D Design Portfolio!

This portfolio initially explored the fashion-technology intersection. I used laser cutting and 3D printing to create patterned textiles, which is what led me to my inquiry: exoskeletons. I realized I could create laser cut modular designs reminiscent of armor and also use a combination of laser cutters and rotary cutters to create biomimetic patterned textiles reminiscent of natural skeletons. My final pieces still explore the fashion-technology intersection through use of mathematics and high tech tools, but I was able to revise and focus my inquiry via experimentation with novel techniques.
